In Between Somewhere and Nowhere
Everything is on hold, I stand still
a montage to hide the pain, the sorrow
to paint with brighter colors
the sadness that once again,
pays me a visit.
How could I thought I was alone?
How did I get to that conclusion?
When did all the strange faces
walked into my picture?
Like a winter chill they embrace me
Like magic, their emotionless bodies
create visions of love,
of trust and deception.
They speak, words, the sweet melody
my ears seeked for so long, every note poisoned,
like a link to a chain that binds me to this reality.
A reality shadowed by a spell,
a spell that I have welcomed without even knowing it.
