Well, it seems this page has been down. My spirit is high and my face shines with my pearlies...hehe. The day is good, wish I could go to the beach but I can't. I have a major monthly report to work on plus a million other things. This month is goin to be crazy, once again I get to shine onstage as a MC for our upcoming talent show. Presentations...too many of them...the good side of it is that people are willing to learn about HIV and STD's and lets hope they practice what they learn. Today I've realized how important my work is...even though most people only think I am a Condom Boi or older Queens called me Condom Lady, my job goes far beyond that. How many of you would be able to keep the deepest secrets of almost 250 people a month? or say attend more than one funeral a month? or stand in front of 100 ppl and talk about STD's? see...it isn't as easy as you thought. I can honestly say I have a great working relationship with all my clients. I am their family as they are mine. I miss doing HIV counseling, I am hoping soon we'll get a grant. I really would like to see more ppl get involved in this type of field, the help is so needed. On the down side, I also found out that the HIV vaccine was as succesful as they thought it will be. I have faith in it and I know sometime in the next 5 years we will have one. Time 2 go....i'll be back later
